That makes the math in the arduino sketch so easy.

The vacuum gauge outputs 0 10vdc.
It has a measuring range of 2 9 psi to 36 3 psi absolute.
At 50 kpa that signal is about 4 95 vdc so it would be 90 mv per kpa.

I need a sensor that can be reasonably accurate down to roughly 28 inches mercury and would connect by a tube.
With 0 kpa vacuum on th port the signal out to the arduino would be about 4 96 vdc.

Initial build used a 10k pot in place of a vacuum gauge to make it simpler.

The digital vacuum gauge is based on the mpxh6250a pressure sensor by freescale.
This had to be changed to a 0 5vdc range using a potential divider so it was compatible with the arduino.
I can control the vacuum pumps easily enough but it is hard to find a vacuum sensor for the arduino.
